Vans Store, Kingston, Surrey

When Vans teamed up with streetwear retailers Natterjacks, for their first partnership store in the UK, Lewisford were called in to give the store that unique Vans look.

The £80,000 fit out project included the famous black and white checkerboard design throughout the store as well as a ‘try out’ lounge to the rear of the retail area.

The existing store was stripped back to the bare walls, before the entire unit was rewired, plastered and decorated. Air conditioning units, a super sized plasma screen and contemporary sound system were then installed. 

The shop entrance was reconfigured and branded with the Vans checks. And all the store fittings including the sales counter, the light box shoe wall, unique window displays, and corner store displays were all manufactured and fitted by Lewisford.

Lastly, we ensured the changing room facility was fully DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant.

The result was a superb urban retail space to hang out, try on, and purchase the latest in skate shoe and skate apparel.
